These wheels or rollers are mounted together with the slewing or rotating cylinder in the heel of the platform, it is useful during the descent phase of the platform when it gets close to the ground to prevent the iron heel from resting on the ground. In addition to being a protection during descent, it prevents corrosion of the iron heel in case of horizontal movements during loading and unloading or in case of rubbing with the ground.
