1 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the ANTEO hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of an ANTEO tail lift are located on a single label positioned on the lifting arms. In the case of an older tail lift, the model and serial number can be found stamped on the main frame, near or just below the side cover cap.

2 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the DHOLLANDIA hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of a DHOLLANDIA tail lift are currently located on different labels. One on the central control dashboard, one on the lifting arms, and the last one on the loading platform. In the past, there was only one on the center of the control dashboard.

3 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the ELEFANTCAR hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: In the latest series of tail lifts produced by ELEFANTCAR, the model and serial number are located on various plates or labels. The largest and most visible one is positioned above the hydraulic unit closing cover. Another one is applied with rivets on the lifting arms, and finally, the data is stamped on the top part of the main square (for newer tail lifts) or round (for older tail lifts) frame. The stamped data is on the opposite side of the frame from where the hydraulic unit is installed. In many cases, there are smaller adhesive labels on the cylinders or other elements of the tail lift, which only show the serial number and production year. 

4 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the SORENSEN hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of a SORENSEN tail lift are located on multiple labels. The first one is placed on one of the lifting arms, the second one inside the hydraulic unit cover. If these two labels are not visible or the parts have been replaced, SORENSEN is the only German manufacturer that stamps the serial number, which is a 5 or 6-digit number, on the thickness of the tail lift mounting bracket on the vehicle frame, driver side. 

ATTENTION: in this case, you need to look under the vehicle at the left side bracket and look from above towards the ground, the stamping is on the 10 mm thickness of the bracket. Sometimes you need to clean off rust or paint to identify it correctly

In newer tail lifts, there are adhesive labels, while older models have punched aluminum plates that were riveted on. 

5 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the DAUTEL hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of a DAUTEL tail lift are on a single label in the center of the control dashboard, which usually has a blue dashboard. In older tail lifts, there was a riveted aluminum plate on the tail lift platform. 

6 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the BAR CARGOLIFT hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of a BAR CARGOLIFT tail lift are on labels in 3 different positions: on the square frame at the top, near the outer edge and therefore easily visible, on the support of the locking bar where the homologation is also written or inside the cover where the electronic board is located. In this last case, you need to loosen the steel band holding the rubber cover of the pipe. Once opened, it should be visible immediately. Remaining protected, it is the least affected by weather conditions and remains visible over time. 

On older tail lifts, there are punched aluminum plates fixed on the platform and remain visible while the vehicle is in motion. 

7 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the MBB PALFINGER hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of an MBB PALFINGER tail lift are on a label located on the tail lift platform or on the driver side frame.

The model and serial number of an MBB PALFINGER tail lift are on labels in 2 different positions: on the square frame, at the top, near the outer edge close to the frame closing cap. The second place is the platform and the label is positioned at the bottom to be visible at human height. It could be in the center of the platform or on the right or left side interchangeably. 

In older tail lifts, there is a single punched aluminum plate on the platform. The position is the same as for the label. 

8 - Question: Where can I find the model and serial number of the PALFINGER PALGATE hydraulic tail lift?

Answer: The model and serial number of a PALFINGER PALGATE tail lift are on a single riveted plate on the tail lift platform or in the newer models on an adhesive label always placed in the same position.
